Week 5 and I am back with updates. This week has been really promising for one. It finally feels like I am taking control. Most of my assignments have been caught up and I am starting to feel the heavy pressure lift off. It has been a good week. The chili weather has started to show up so I get to wear hoodies all week that's why fall Is my fav season...lol.

I did my Tuesday & Wednesday welcome desk  shift as usual.

I was able to copy some notes in between so it felt productive than usual.  On Wednesday I donated blood for the first time. It was excited and a little painful because the needle they used was bigger than I expected. It felt really good to know I can contribute to save a life.

On Thursday I had my teeth cleaned by a student at the UCBA dental hygiene clinic and "holy fish cakes!", it was the best teeth cleaning experience ever. They were very thorough and every step was double checked by a supervisor. They scrapped, took x-rays, took some pictures, stained and cleaned and did every back and forth. I told her that ,my dentist had been cheating me all this while and she laughed! It was an amazing experience and the funny thing  was that we had been hyping them all summer through orientation and hadn't even had a first hand experience, but now every time I talk about them I can back it with a personal review.

Later that day I met with Sarah and we had a conversation about the 1-on-1 meetings I had with my mentees and how it went.

We talked about next steps and then I came up with an idea which she loved and so did my peer mentees. After the official stuff we had a very fulfilling conversation and it was the highlight of my week. She gave me some good tips and advice and I really enjoyed talking to her. It's such a commodity to have a good conversation these days so it's always nice to have that.

We had our Ambassador meeting later that day as well, Molly did an amazing job introducing and explaining campus link to us and the cool features it has.

We also had fun chatting and I got to introduce my Major Panel idea and I got some really good feedback so I will put it together and hopefully with the help of my co- basses we can make it a success.

That's all the scoop and fun I had this week .....I will be looking forward to what next week has for me and oh Congrats to Stephanie...Bass of the Week!
