Week 6 has been pretty interesting and fulfilling. It finally seems like can catch a breathe from the never ending cycle of assignments and my professor have been pretty supportive through it all so it has been pretty nice.

It's always nice to see my co-ambassadors on campus so there's that and I had my first mind-body wellness session which was facilitated by Dr. Ann and Dr. Lizzie. It was a very peaceful and serene class and I was really relaxed with the meditations we had. I had a wonderful experience.

On Monday in my mentor class I shared my thoughts on getting involved on campus and how/why I got into becoming a  SOL and how it has really changed my attitude and the way I interact with people. I used to enjoy my little corner where I didn't have to talk and share but now it's all I want to do and it has opened a lot of good doors for me and I am pleased everyday to know that I tried to work through my personal struggles to get to where I am now. I am still learning everyday and it is okay because what is the point if not to grow and learn. I saw some potential leaders amongst my mentees and I really hope they can get involved with campus and leadership opportunities that it has to offer.

We had our first Genetics exams on Tuesday and I was so flustered that I was under prepared but it went way better that I thought or expected at least. This week I got to know some of the other ambassadors a little more as well. I took some time to hangout with Stephanie on Friday we had some sushi for lunch and grabbed some bubble tea later on and it was really nice to relax without having to think about all the homework I have to do.

Pretty much my week has been a little rollercoaster nothing too crazy and its nice to say it even though now I have to think about midterms and meeting my advisor for my next semester classes.

Well I had fun while this lasted. I hope for more events in the upcoming weeks that way I can have more to talk about.

            The End!
